Orenburg shawl is a unique masterpiece, it must only be handcrafted. No knitting machine can deal with a delicate mix of 85% of pure goat's hair and 15% of natural silk thread and provide the necessary level of tautness of the yarn. Authentic Orenburg shawl will never leave hair on your clothes. You can verify the authenticity of the shawl by burning one of its threads (that is why we provide a free sample). Burn the thread and extinguish it right away (as you see in the video). You will see a little ball of burned hair. Try to grind this ball with your fingers, if it turns into ash very easily it means the hair is natural but if the ball remains hard it means there is a synthetic component or it is 100% synthetic.
